Tribute

There would be no archive but for the interest and dedication of Reg Rumming and John Reis. The original 150+ photos from the Rumming family initiated the first collection in 1990, which was catalogued in 2011 by John Reis, who also commissioned a photographic record of the village in 1990, a timely piece of work which itself is already 30+ years old!

Laurie Waite picked up the reins in 2014, researching the history of the village and its people as well as gathering more photos, now numbering over 500. It was then decided to put as much as possible up on a website for everyone to enjoy. Grateful thanks to John Reis for all his support and encouragement.
